A warm welcome to my webpage. You may be here because you are looking for support managing recent life challenges or for help with long standing emotional difficulties. Perhaps you feel 'stuck' in some way, anxious, depressed or dissatisfied with life. You may be interested in learning more general ways to support your own or your organisation's emotional wellbeing via talks, workshops or webinars. If any of these apply, I can help you to understand the difficulties you are facing, improve your emotional wellbeing and live life more fully. Whether you have a diagnosis of a mental health condition or not, I am passionate about supporting people to overcome emotional burdens and navigate life more freely. 

I am trained to deliver and integrate several psychological therapy approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). ​

I provide psychological therapy in a welcoming and confidential space (in person and online) to treat difficulties including (but not limited to):

What is Psychological Therapy?

Psychological therapy is an evidence-based approach (meaning that it has been shown to work through research trials) that can help you to manage difficult emotional experiences and situations.


It involves helping you to understand your feelings in the context of past and current experiences. You will also learn coping strategies to help you manage long term. This is done in a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental setting to help you talk and process your experiences safely and openly. 

Psychological therapy approaches include:

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT)

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MCBT)

Please be advised that I do not offer a crisis service. If you feel you need urgent support due to feeling actively suicidal please contact your GP, out of hours service or attend your local emergency department.  For urgent telephone support The Samaritans are contactable 24 hours a day on 116 123. You can also text SHOUT to 85258 to access support 24/7 from trained volunteers.
